Hello everyone! Happy Independence Day!
Look at all the colorful flags around us! Today is a very special day for India, our country! Do you know why? Because on this day, a long time ago, India became free!
Before, there were no flags like this everywhere. But many brave people called freedom fighters worked hard to make India free. They wanted us to be able to play, sing, and learn freely, just like we do today!
So, every year on the 15th of August, we celebrate Independence Day! We raise the flag high, sing songs, and wear pretty clothes. It’s a day to be happy and proud to be Indian!
What can we do to celebrate? We can wave our flags and sing with our friends! We can also wear clothes with the colors of our flag – orange, white, and green!
Remember, freedom is like a precious toy. We have to take care of it and make our country a happy place for everyone. Happy Independence Day!
