Dear students, colleagues, and esteemed guests,
Today, we have gathered here to celebrate Independence Day, a symbol of our country’s freedom. This day reminds us of the brave soldiers and freedom fighters who sacrificed their lives to grant us liberty.
Our India, known for its unity in diversity, created history on August 15, 1947, by breaking free from British rule. On this day, we should pay homage to the sacrifices of countless freedom fighters like Mahatma Gandhi, Subhash Chandra Bose, Bhagat Singh, and Chandra Shekhar Azad.
Independence Day not only gives us a chance to understand the value of freedom but also reminds us of our duties to maintain it. In today’s era, for the progress and development of our country, we need to work together. We must respect the constitution of our country and contribute to its security, education, and development.
Today, we should all take a pledge to make every possible effort to improve our country. We need to advance in the field of education, set new benchmarks in science and technology, and come together to eradicate social evils.
My dear students, you are the future of our country. Your dreams, hard work, and dedication will take our country to new heights. You should perform your duties with full dedication and honesty.
Finally, I extend my heartfelt greetings to all of you on Independence Day. We are proud to be citizens of this great country.
Jai Hind! Vande Mataram!
Thank you.
